The Grease Traps are an Oakland-based quartet specializing in rare deep funk, instrumental soul, and 70's jazz dance classics with a dash of afrobeat and dub.

Featuring current and past members of bands such as Brown Baggin, Crown City Rockers and Orlando Julius' Afrobeat Orchestra, it is an eclectic mix of like-minded musicians whose primary goal is to groove.
